Hot tips for burn treatment
Article Abstract:
There are several ways to follow in treating a burn victim. Primary to providing first-aid is to ensure the safety of the person who will provide the aid. When the victim is burning either due to fire or electrocution, the first step is to put off the fire or turn-off the power source. Next, cool the victim by pouring cool water on the affected area while taking him to a medical facility. Burn creams and topical antibiotics are recommended for minor burns only but for major ones, it is best to bandage with sterile gauze to prevent infection.

How to treat minor cuts, burns and bruises
Article Abstract:
Instances when professional medical attention for cuts, burns and bruises are described prior to appropriate first aid measures. Stopping the bleeding and prevention of infection are the general aims of firstaid for minor cuts. Burns, on the other hand, require pain relief, prevention of infection and prevention or treatment of shock. Bruises, which are not symptoms of a more serious problem, should be treated with a cold compress for the first two days to reduce swelling and bleeding followed by moist heat to increase circulation.
