Interviews for senior managerial positions may prove to be a daunting experience, especially if one is attempting a jump from a junior level, and hence a different strategy is considered necessary. A nurse consultant who is offered the post of deputy director of nursing reveals her interview experience, and offers a number of useful tips to help potential candidates succeed in wading through senior job interviews.

The utility of CPD for older adult mental health nurses
Article Abstract:
An interview is conducted with four nurses using a questionnaire to find out how nurses working in older adult mental health care view the advantages and application of the results of current continuing professional development (CPD) in actual practice. Observations reveal that CPD can prove to be a rewarding experience giving nurses a chance to channel their professional development.
