How to promote a positive safety attitude
Article Abstract:
Occupational health and safety can only be intensified and properly implemented if business owners encourage a positive safety attitude among workers. Safety-awareness attitude can be fostered by establishing anin-house committee which would be tasked with initiating well-being programs. It is equally important for employers to outline a long-term business plan in order to ensure that safety programs are properly supported and implemented. After a particular program has been launched, members must be able to conduct a detailed evaluation of the project.

'Systems process' helps cut costs in the health care industry
Article Abstract:
Workers in the health care industry are more likely to be injured than construction workers. Health care workers are subject to cumulative trauma disorders or injuries that are compounded over time. Most of their injuries occur in soft tissue that require longer recuperation periods and higher treatment costs. Hospitals and other health care organizations can utilize a comprehensive approach to prevent workplace injury. These include the use of a help implement program and development of a plan to correct problem areas.
