How will OSHA fare with a Republican Congress?
Article Abstract:
Speculations were made on the future activities of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) under the new Republican-controlled Congress. New standards governing safety and health will be proposed, but the development of these standards will likely be slower than usual. The new standards will address critical issues such as indoor air quality, ergonomics and program standards for safety and health. Stiff penalties will likely be imposed on violators of the OSHA's new standards.
