Identification of patients at low risk for recurrent venous thromboembolism by measuring thrombin generation
Article Abstract:
The relationship between recurrence of venous thromboembolism (VTE) and a simple global coagulation assay measuring thrombin generation for covering multicausal thrombophilia is investigated. The results concluded that measurement for thrombin generation identifies patients at low risk for recurrent VTE.
