Imperial oil takes to the 'airwaves' with its off - the - safety program

Imperial Oil's Safety and Health Advisor, Jim Snyder had created a weekly newsletter, Safety NEWSRadio in 1994. The newsletter's main focus was on broadcasting worker experiences and safety messages to employees at the chemical plant and refinery in Sarnia, Ontario . The importance the newsletter has gained since then and the way the information has been managed in it are discussed.

Trends in protective clothing

Protective clothing preferences of workers are described. Workers seem to prefer comfortable, non-intrusive safety clothing that is also lightweight.
