Improved classification of recent HIV-1 infection by employing a two-stage sensitive/less-sensitive test strategy
Article Abstract:
Research has been conducted on serologic techniques for recent HIV-1 infection classification. The development of sensitive/less sensitive test strategy which includes an assay for rapid identification of people with recent infection followe d by an enzyme immunoassay with exquisite specificity is described.
