Improving treatment plan acceptance using staff-driven diagnostic data collection
Article Abstract:
The staff of a dental office can collect much of the data required to assess the patient and develop a treatment plan. This could be done on the first visit and would include medical history forms, X-rays, diagnostic stone casts, patient education, periodontal pocket charting and charting in general. The staff then consults the dentist, who sees the patient and plans the treatment. The treatment is given on the second visit.
