Bodybuilder John Grimek, who passed away on Nov 20, 1998 at the age of 88, is remembered for having the most developed, symmetrical and flexible physique in the 1930s. In honor of Grimek, a new bodybuilding competition has been established in Europe where John Grimek statues will be awarded to winners.
