Incidence of testicular cancer in the United States: Has the epidemic begun to abate?
Article Abstract:
The incidence of testicular cancer in US white males 15-64 years old stabilized in the first half of the 1990s after a number of years of steady increase, but no indication of an actual decline has been found. Data collected by the Surveillance Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) progam, 1973-95, have been analyzed for indications of a declining testicular cancer rate.

Logistic regression analysis for more than one characteristic of exposure
Article Abstract:
Logistic regression analysis is an insufficient method for studying two or more characteristics of exposure. Adjusted comparisons for recency are unable to be performed accurately, as relative risk assessment and model coefficients for exposed persons against unexposed persons cannot be determined properly with more than a single variable.

Glutathione S-transferase M1 genotypes and the risk of squamous carcinoma of the cervix: a population-based case-control study
Article Abstract:
Risk of squamous carcinoma of the cervix and glutathione S-transferase M1 genotypes are discussed based on a population-based case-control study of 190 Caucasian women with the cancer and 206 controls. Data indicate women with the GSTM1 (ital) null genotype are not at greater risk of cervical cancer vs others.
