Tighter glycemic control saves life, reduces costs
Article Abstract:
The practice of tight glycemic control includes the use of certain blood glucose meters on patients receiving intravenous immune globulin or peritoneal dialysis treatments to help in saving lives and reducing the treatment costs for the patients. The report shows that though the process has proved to be extremely beneficial, a proper vigilance and accuracy with any blood glucose meter is extremely essential for an efficient and better result.
