Organisational effectiveness
Article Abstract:
Clinical care within the UK National Health Service should be maintained through a framework of clinical governance overseen by health managers and health trusts. A cost-effectiveness analysis of earwax softeners
Article Abstract:
A comparison of effectiveness showed that irrigation with body temperature tap water alone was as effective in removing uncomplicated impacted earwax plugs as using colace or mineral oil as pre-irrigation softeners. Application of a solution of half vinegar and half isopropyl alcohol after irrigation reduced itching and the otitis externa which can come from it.
