Isolated pleural effusion in severe ovarian hyperstimulation: a case report
Article Abstract:
Severe ovarian hyperstimulation can lead to fluid in the chest, a condition called pleural effusion. Ovarian hyperstimulation occurs when fertility drugs are used to stimulate ovulation. However, this can damage the ovaries and lead to enlarged ovaries and fluid in the abdomen. Two cases are reported of women who developed pleural effusion after using fertility drugs.

Pelvic organ descent and symptoms of pelvic floor disorders
Article Abstract:
The relationship between symptoms of pelvic floor disorders, and measurement of pelvic organ prolapse is evaluated. It is concluded that 'bulging' is the principle symptom that correlates with prolapse severity and no discrete anatomic position that discriminates between prolapse as a disease state and normal anatomic variation is found.
