JCAH medical staff standards approved
Article Abstract:
The standards for medical staff have been approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals. The definition of medical staff has been expanded to include people who provide services to patients but are not employed by the hospital. People other than physicians can now admit patients to a hospital. These changes will create more flexibility for hospitals.
