First things first
Article Abstract:
First aid could have saved the lives of 39% of people who died due to a medical emergency before reaching hospital, according to research. Nurses face a particularly difficult situation when they come across an emergency requiring first aid. Members of the public expect nurses to be able to administer first aid, yet few nurses have had training in this subject. Research has shown that, in some areas, members of the general public have more first aid knowledge.
