Key role for a viral lytic gene in Kaposi's sarcoma
Article Abstract:
Recent studies show that a lyric gene of human herpes virus 8 (HHV-8) also known as Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpes virus may play a critical role in the development of Kaposi's sarcoma through direct and indirect mechanisms thus highlighting the role of lyric genes in viral ontogenesis. These results provide helpful groundwork for future advances.
