Levonorgestrel
Article Abstract:
Levonorgestrel, a synthetic derivative of progesterone, is most effective if taken less than 24 hours after unprotected sexual intercourse. The tablets are more effective in preventing pregnancy, but some side effects, like headache, abdominal pain, diarrhea, early or delayed onset of next menstrual period, are also observed suggesting that some precaution is necessary before taking this drug.

Ringing the changes in primary care
Article Abstract:
The new developments in the primary care have brought new opportunities in for nurses. By the year 2008, all general practitioners are expected to take control of their own budgets which would allow them to take budgetary control from primary care trusts (PCTs) and commission their own services.
