Article Abstract:
UK Liberal Democrat health spokesman Simon Hughes outlined his party's health policies to an audience of nurses. Liberal Democrat proposals include the provision of an extra 200 million pounds sterling a year for staffing needs in the NHS, a change to contracting rounds once every three years rather than annual ones, and the injection of a further 150 million pounds sterling a year into acute care, with the intention of reducing waiting lists.
