Licensed to thrill
Article Abstract:
Proposed legislations for a licensing scheme for providers of adventure activities for young people, currently being assessed by the HSC, would oblige all commercial providers of adventure activities to the young to hold a licence. The licensing scheme would not apply to schools, clubs or voluntary organisations. The concerns would be subject to inspection, and would have to undertake risk assessment work before receiving a licence.
