London calling for British medical research institute
Article Abstract:
The National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR), one of Britain's leading centers for basic medical research, is planning to move the institute from Mill Hill to a single site in central London. The new location is very near to the King's College London and to the University College London, and the panel is trying to form new partnerships with these educational institutes.

Researchers probe the real effect of placebos
Article Abstract:
Researchers estimate that one in three people respond to placebos, with the effect being much higher for conditions with a strong physical component such as pain and depression. Some researchers state that the placebo effect may simply be false reporting from patients who tell their doctors what they want to hear.
