Article Abstract:
Male hormonal contraception is a follicle-stimulating hormone, resulting in marked decrease in sperm production suited for family planning using reversible methods. Further research and development includes the use of selective androgen receptor modulators and agents with local actions on the testis for male contraception.

Newborn screening-should it be part of prenatal care?
Article Abstract:
Newborn screening programs identify neonates with conginential disorders of metabolism. It is proposed that obstetricians/gynecologists should inform families about newborn screening programs and educate the patients about screening for blood group incompatibility, hepatitis and toxoplasmosis.
