The Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 set down the duties of employers in managing transport risks. Instability of adenoviral vectors during transport and its implication for clinical studies
Article Abstract:
Researchers describe a method of transporting adenoviral vectors that will maintain their viability. Shipping the virus in dry ice may affect viability because the carbon dioxide gas can seep into the vials and lower the pH of the buffer. This would lower the infectious titer of the virus.
