Massage for children with cerebral palsy
Article Abstract:
There is a lack of access to massage for child sufferers of quadriplegic cerebral palsy (QCP) in the UK, despite the apparent success of massage treatment. People who work with children suffering from QCP, in the home, in respite care, and in educational institutions should be taught massage therapy.

A framework of care for children with celebral palsy
Article Abstract:
There are plans to improve the care of children in the UK suffering from cerebral palsy (CP), following discussions by a working party. It has recommended that young sufferers of CP be given access to speech and language and occupational therapy and to physiotherapy from an early age.

Triage of children in A and E: research shortfall addressed
Article Abstract:
Most children are seen in general accident and emergency (A and E) departments, but triage could be improved. Triage nurses believe children should be treated more promptly than adults. Triage policies should be formalised, as they are usually defined by the nurse on duty at the time.
