Article Abstract:

Patients and their families should be educated and reassured about the benign course of the disease and should be advised on ways to reduce the progression of coronary artery disease.

Evaluating Mild to Moderate Hypertension
Article Abstract:
A patient has hypertension if he or she has a diastolic blood pressure of 90 mm Hg or greater, a systolic blood pressure greater than 140 mm Hg, or is taking antihypertensive medication. Many patients are misdiagnosed as hypertensive due to inaccurate blood pressure measurement or insufficient number of readings to ensure accuracy.
