Meningiomas in Lymphangioleiomyomatosis
Article Abstract:
Some women with lymphangioleiomyomatosis may also have a brain tumor called a meningioma. These women should not be treated with progesterone because progesterone can stimulate tumor growth. Lymphangioleiomyomatosis is a cystic lung disease that is often treated with progesterone.
