Mental health research emerges from hurricane ruin
Article Abstract:
The disaster of Hurricane Katrina has left a lingering effect on the mental health of people affected by it and signs of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Hence, researchers plan to study efforts to get psychological first aid to thousands of victims, many of whom would recover on their own, as well as programs for people who develop psychiatric problems, such as depression and PTSD.

Some scientists and administrators are concerned over the lack of specific criteria for judging sensitive content, as the expenditure on biodefence research is growing.
