Is mental health nursing learning from inquiries?
Article Abstract:
A report on the failure of mental health services to the patients and public suffering from mental health problems are presented. Common themes include failure to implement or correctly implement the care programme approach, lack of training in risk assessment, poor communication and lack of written evidence that acre plans are being allowed.

Let this be the year of truly holistic nursing
Article Abstract:
Mental and physical well being must be addressed simultaneously in order to avoid problems that may arise if only physical health problems are attended to. If resources allow, having a member of staff on duty to address mental health issues during a shift can help patients making it a truly holistic nursing approach.
