Monitoring the effects of caesarean sections
Article Abstract:
Bonding with baby takes longer for women who undergo emergency Caesarean, rather than vaginal delivery. The survey includes 100 first-time mums of which 50 had babies by emergency section, and 50 by vaginal delivery. Further results of the study are included, such as reasons for Caesarean deliveries, problems following delivery, intentions to breastfeed, and the implications of anaesthesia.
