Even disciplined exercisers can have trouble staying motivated and focus. Half of all adults who begin exercising quit in the first 6 months, according to one study. Six tips for staying motivated are presented, including: learning to enjoy movement, constructing a clear exercise plan, setting reasonable goals, accepting adversity, enlisting help, and rewarding oneself for short-term goals.

The fun factor
