Article Abstract:
Recent studies show that vitamin intake can prevent muscle damage caused by excessive exercise. Vitamins E and C are antioxidants that can halt the process that causes oxidative stress to muscle tissue. However, these findings have not been confirmed and excessive intake can be harmful.

A Canadian study reports that a 15-minute continuous, moderate-intensity warm-up can prevent exercise-induced asthma. Asthma attacks often occur after bouts of intense exercise.
