The presence of Buddhist leader Dalai Lama at the annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience, which was held to discuss on Tibet's independence from china, has led to a debate among audience on his presence at the meeting. The lecture Dalai Lama is the first in a series called 'Dialogues between Neuroscience and Society, which aims to examine legitimate areas for scientific inquiry that involve how the brain accomplishes the full range of observed behaviors.
