Neutralizing antibody-independent containment of immunodeficiency virus challenges by DNA priming and recombinant pox virus booster immunizations
Article Abstract:
The most promising containment of immunodeficiency challenge infections was achieved by intradermal DNA prming followed by recombinant fowl pox virus booster immunizations in an 8-protocol comparison in rhesus macaques. Efficient detection and immunomagnetic sorting of specific T cells using multimers of MHC class I peptide with reduced CD8 binding
Article Abstract:
Research on a new method of immunomagnetic cell binding is presented. This method is developed to prevent T cells from binding to CD8 receptors by producing tetramers of human leukocyte antigens and peptides, and improving efficiency of tools for sorting specific human T cells in immunotherapy.

MHC-I-restricted presentation of HIV-1 virion antigens without viral replication
Article Abstract:
Issues related to the role CD8 cytotoxic T lymphocytes play in combating viral infections are examined, focusing on the processes of dendritic cells, macrophages and MHC-1 molecules. Results provide insights into how anti-HIV cytotoxic T lymphocytes are activated.
