New approach needed to restore system's balance
Article Abstract:
The healthcare system must adopt balanced-integrated thinking to improve the delivery of care to patients. Balanced-integrated thinking requires health care administrators to reconfigure ideas and people to uncover the right combination of pieces to allow the system to function at optimal capacity and with attention to patient care. Health care organizations should adopt a check-and-balance system to ensure that all relevant parties are involved in making medical and administrative decisions.
