The authors have investigated nitric oxide metabolite concentrations in the cervical fluid in pregnant women. The results have demonstrated that cervical fluid nitric oxide metabolite level rises after cervical ripening, and that nitric oxide is important for cervical ripening.

Administration of raloxifene does not influence 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure of postmenopausal women with osteopenia: a double-blind placebo-controlled study
Article Abstract:
The drug raloxifene does not affect blood pressure, according to a study of 32 women who took either raloxifene or a placebo and who wore a blood pressure monitor for 41 hours. A placebo is an inactive substance. Raloxifene is used to treat osteoporosis.
