A new focus on caring principles
Article Abstract:
NMC is planning to reinforce the values of care, compassion and communication in pre-registration nurse education. This plan was set out to review the Fitness to Practices at the Point of Registration and was agreed by the NMC council in early March 2006 after consultation involving nursing and patient focus groups that identified them as lacking in newly qualified nurses.
