Nurses cautious about donation rules
Article Abstract:
The proposals, that is, a controversial set of rules on organ donation published that from September 2006 it will be legal for the first time in the UK for a living person to donate a kidney to a complete stranger, are awaiting ministerial backing. Transplant nurses are supporting the change but they warn it will increase nurses' workload and require an increase in access to counselling and laboratory services.

Claims that night shifts cause cancer called into question
Article Abstract:
The article examines the recent findings that nurses who regularly work night shifts do not have a higher than average risk of developing cancer as compared to the reverse conclusion of earlier studies.
