'Nurses must always act in the interests of patients'
Article Abstract:
The new Mental Health Act has made the detention and the provision of an appropriate treatment mandatory for the people who are declared untreatable earlier, especially patients with any from of mental illness. The author suggests that in spite of all such political maneuvering, the nurses should always act in the best interests of the patients, as the patients themselves at time are not aware of the consequences and hence should be properly guided and helped.
