Nurses' prescribing rights will be no threat to patient safety
Article Abstract:
The delegates of NHS Alliance stated that the doctorEs fears of opening up the formulary would see nurses prescribing outside their area of expertise are unfounded. Plans were made to strengthen nurse education and professional development to gain full prescribing rights, for patient's safety.
