Nurses register their disapproval of CTOs
Article Abstract:
Mental health nurses are strongly opposing the community treatment orders (CTOs) and have outlined it to a health minister and senior official. The CTOs would force some people with mental health problems to comply with a treatment plan while still living at home and if the patients breach the CTOs, they could be admitted to hospital for treatment but the nurses are concerned that the plans will force them to take on policing role with community treatment orders of their patients, destroying their therapeutic relationship with them.

Is it time for new abortion limits?
Article Abstract:
The call for a change in the time limit of termination of pregnancy is needed, as an increasing number of babies survive despite being born extremely premature. Nurses argue that delays in access to early termination are holding up the process, while others call for improvements in the sexual education given to teenagers.
