The role of the Citizen's Advice Bureau in supporting health care
Article Abstract:
Scotland's 77 Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) offices in September 2004 played a vital role in encouraging more people to volunteer to get involved in the service, as the service requires more people. The CABs are charitable organizations, mainly staffed by trained volunteers who dispense free and impartial advice and information to the public on a wide range of issues.

Are foundation trusts succeeding?
Article Abstract:
The rapid growth of foundation trusts in England is gaining special status of becoming clinically and financially attached to the government. The efforts of foundation trust in improving medical services to the patients and the increase in facilities provided to the healthcare workforce are discussed.

Fed up with poor food

A common problem in urban areas, with lower incomes, is poor access to fresh food. Sandwell Community Foods, a nonprofit project to improve fresh vegetables and fruit access, has been established in Sandwell, England.
