Options increase in mental health
Article Abstract:
Mental illness affects 25 percent of the population at some time in their lives and most people need care or support to help them deal with their problem. As understanding of mental illness increases and services find more innovative ways of providing support, nurses are moving into new roles, which include crisis intervention teams that provide multi-agency support in the community to help people cope with acute problems.

The role of lithium clinics in the treatment of bipolar disorder

Lithium is the best treatment for the bipolar disorder, which is a serious and enduring mental disorder associated with high mortality rates worldwide but needs careful monitoring. Lithium clinics provide support and education to the patients and ensure that patients using this therapy have access to monitoring on a regular basis.
