Oral bacteria linked to preterm birth
Article Abstract:
Preterm births or still-births in mice can be triggered by a bacterium associated with periodontal disease according to researchers in the April, 2004 issue of the Journal of Infection and Immunity. Periodontal disease is treatable and preventable and women who are pregnant or thinking about getting pregnant are advised to maintain oral hygiene.

The effect of surface finishing and storage solutions on the color stability of resin-based composites
Article Abstract:
The surface finishing, affects many aspects of the final restoration of resin-based composites including, staining, plaque accumulation and wear resistance. Clinicians should remove the polyester film-finished surface and advise patients that drinking wine could intensify surface staining on restorations.
