Outcome of patients identified as dead (beyond resuscitation) at the point of the emergency call
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to determine the outcome of patients with a dispatch code of 09B01 and to consider the appropriateness of dispatching a non-emergency response. It shows that inappropriate allocation of this to some patients can be risky since errors have to be eliminated before allocating a non-emergency response to the calls and proper research has to be done before making any changes.
