Creating and using knowledge for species and ecosystem conservation: science, organizations, and policy
Article Abstract:
Environmental policymakers should consider the possible problems which would be caused by the loss of biological diversity. Large scale species extinction would lead to biodivesity loss and thus create an imbalance in global ecosytems. Studies indicate that the present efforts to save the world's biodiversity of species is insufficient. Environmentalists believe that there is a need for biologists and environmental policymakers to exert more effort in this area.
