The introduction of better tools for the monitoring of glycemic control has increased the demand for insulin preparations that have greater effectiveness, safety, and versaility. The proper use of insulin analogues allows people with diabetes greater flexibility in the timing of meals, snacks, and exercise, which in turn enhances their ability to lead normal lives.
