Placental angiogenic growth factors and uterine artery Doppler findings for characterization of different subsets in preeclampsia and in isolated intrauterine growth restriction
Article Abstract:
Possible relationships between placental markers and endothelial dysfunction in preeclampsia and intrauterine growth restriction are evaluated. It is concluded that biochemical changes in early-preeclampsia and intrauterine growth restriction point to a common placental disorder and a state of endothelial dsyfunction, which may require interaction with other factors to explain the maternal disease in preeclampsia.

Hypoadiponectinemia and circulating angiogenic factors in overweight patients complicated with pre-eclampsia
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine whether adiponectin in conjunction with angiogenic factors plays some roles in the pathophysiology of pre-eclampsia. Overweight patients with pre-eclampsia showed lower significantly lower adiponectin levels and a mild imbalance of circulating angiogenic factors, compared with normal-weight patients with pre-eclampsia.

Circulating angiogenic factors in preeclampsia, gestational proteinuria, and preeclampsia superimposed on chronic glomerulonephritis
Article Abstract:
A study to investigate angiogenic factor levels in women with preeclampsia, preeclampsia superimposed on chronic glomerulonephritis, gestational proteinuria, and normal pregnancies is conducted. The results reveal that the imbalance of angiogenic factors is important in the onset of preeclampsia superimposed on chronic glomerulonephritis.
