Gingivitis
Article Abstract:
Gingivitis is a form of periodontal disease and it occurs when plaque build-up leads to inflammation and infection, which attacks the gingiva (gums) thus patients should visit their dentist regularly to spot any recurrence or development of gingivitis and to remove plaque build-up. A brief overview of the disease, its symptoms, causes, prevention, and treatment is presented.

Pleurisy
Article Abstract:
Pleurisy, also known as pleuritis is inflammation of the pleura, the double-layered membrane covering the lungs where one layer of pleura is attached to the lung surface and the other to the chest wall. Some of the causes of pleurisy include pneumonia, tuberculosis, chest trauma, neoplasms and pulmonary infarctions.

Pleurisy occurs when the pleura, the double membrane that lines the chest cavity and surrounds each of the lungs, becomes inflamed. The symptoms of pleurisy, the features to determine the cause of the disease and the treatment to be followed are mentioned.
