Pregnancy characteristics and maternal risk of breast cancer
Article Abstract:
Associations between indirect markers of hormonal exposures, such as placental weight and other pregnancy characteristics, and maternal risk of developing breast cancer are examined. Results support the hypothesis that placental weight is positively associated with maternal risk of breast cancer.

Caloric restriction and incidence of breast cance
Article Abstract:
A study is undertaken to determine whether caloric restriction in early life reduces the risk of invasive breast cancer. It is found that severe caloric restriction in humans too may confer protection from invasive breast cancer.
