Prevalence and Health Consequences of Stalking--Louisiana, 1998-1999
Article Abstract:
Stalking is a significant source of stress for women. In a survey of 1,171 women living in Louisiana, 15% said they had been stalked during their lifetime, and 2% were currently being stalked. Over half said the stalking was so stressful, it interfered with their normal routines.

Drowning--Louisiana, 1998
Article Abstract:
There were 137 deaths from drowning in Louisiana in 1998. None of the persons who died in a boating accident had worn a life jacket and 60% were under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs.

Prevalence of marijuana use disorder in the United States
Article Abstract:
Changes in the prevalence of marijuana use, abuse and its dependence in the United States is discussed. Even after the stability of marijuana use most adults face disorder in the United States.
