Chlamydia screening among sexually active young female enrollees of health plans- United States, 1999-2001
Article Abstract:
Cylamydia trachomatics infection is the most commonly reported sexually transmitted disease in the united sates, with the highest rates among adolescent females and young women. The results of the Health Plan Employer Data and Information Set report, which determined that screening rates were low despite slight increases in screening covered by commercial and Medicaid plan are reported.

Prevalence of chlamydial and gonococcal infections amog young adults in the United States
Article Abstract:
Substantial morbidity in the United States is caused by chlamydial brachiates and Neisserai. However, it is considered that chlamydial infection may also be linked with cervical cancer.
